No, Mary Didn't Save the Repentant Thief on the Cross.

Hi! In this blog, I am going to share with you my encounter with a Catholic on 2024 who claims that Dismas, the repentant thief, was saved because Mary, the mother of Jesus, was interceding for him. My first reaction after I read his post was like, “What is this Christian talking about?” Deep inside, I feel that there is a need for me to ask him about his belief. So I asked him, “Is there a scripture to support your claim that Mary was praying to Dismas that is why he was saved?” He answered, “It is not wrong to assume that Mary was interceding to Dismas.” Look. Saying "this is how I feel" doesn't mean it's a fact. We have to be able to separate our emotions from reality. Feelings are valid, but they're not always accurate reflections of what's actually happening. Let us see what the Bible is telling us about the salvation of Dismas. In Luke 23:39-43, “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. B...

What you need to know about angels?

The creation of spirits is according to God’s purpose. The creation of the spirit of angels, humans and animals are different from one another. The angels are created by God to belong to heaven to serve Him. While humans and animals are created for Earth. Humans and animals are created with physical bodies but angels don’t. They only exist as spiritual beings and heaven is their exact home. 1. The creation of spirits is fixed. The Bible states that Yahweh created His creations within 6 days and rested on the 7th day. Which means to say that the creation of spirits is already fixed. If you are created to be an angel, then you are an angel forever. Contrary to New Agers, your free will can’t do anything about it. You don’t choose what you want to be. 2. The angels are genderless. Angels are spiritual beings without physical bodies so they don't have gender like humans do. They always appear as male but sometimes, they may appear as female depending on the message they need to relay. ...

What you need to know about monitoring spirits.

 1. Monitoring spirits are a type of demonic spirit with the mission to make your life miserable and lose your faith in God. They are different from Incubus and Succubus. Monitoring spirits appear in your life to destroy your peace by bringing you negativity, block you from reaching your success, create disturbances in your surroundings to increase your stress or negative emotions and to distract you from whatever you are doing, most especially if you are reading the Bible or praying. 2. Unlike angels who are assigned to real human beings at birth, monitoring spirits are not assigned at birth. Not everyone has monitoring spirits. They only target and they only appear in individuals who are in a vulnerable state or disconnected from God, as this gives the demons an easier opportunity to influence or manipulate the person.  3. An individual can have one or more monitoring spirits influencing them. One monitoring spirit is the one affecting them directly, while the other monito...

From Sabbath to Sunday: The Shift in the Day of Worship

According to the Jewish calendar, the first day of the week is Sunday. And that makes the 7th day, which is Saturday, the Sabbath day. It begins in the sunset of Friday and ends in the nightfall (after the sunset where everything is already dark) of Saturday. The week consists of seven days, distinguished from one another by their place in the week. They are called the first day, the second day, the third day, and so on to the seventh day, which is besides called "Shabbat" (Rest) or "Yom ha-Shabbat" (Day of Rest). As the Sabbath is the most important day of the week, the term "Shabbat" denotes also "week"—that is, the period from one Sabbath to the next; and a year of rest is also called "Shabbat" (or "shabu'a"). Friday, as the forerunner of Shabbat, is called "'Ereb Shabbat" (The Eve of Sabbath). The term "'ereb" admits of two meanings: "evening" and "admixture" (Ex. xii. 38...
